In 2012 I made the decision to be more healthy. The reason I wanted to be more healthy is because I wanted to participate in fun physical challenges. There are other reasons like being healthy and looking damn good.
What I decided to do to become more healthy was join Crossfit Bellevue. Crossfit has been very positive for me. Crossfit is actually one of the main reasons that I am doing my year of challenges. More on that later.
I have had an up and downs in crossfit. Even though I am not in great shape at this moment, I decided to take the big step and take on a challenge. Using crossfit as my way to improve my shape I am joining the big climb in Seattle.
What is the Big Climb?
The Big Climb is a stairclimb up the Columbia Center – the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle. There are 69 flights of stairs, 1311 steps, and 788 feet of vertical elevation. Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
I am excited to take up this challenge. It will be a perfect way to celebrate my improvement. I am very excited to climb 1311 steps to prove to myself that I can do it.
I could also use your help. Also the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society can also use your help.
