How important is one thought

I keep on reading that one thought is all it takes to ruin or save your life. That one violent thought adds to the violence of this world or one positive thought can change your entire day.

While positive and negative thinking does affect your reality, just one thought is not enough. Unless you act on the thought.
That is the important part of the thought. How much do you believe that thought and how much energy do you put the thought. The brain’s job is to think. Your brain will have all sort of thoughts during the day. What you need to do is put energy in the thoughts you want to think and take away energy in the thoughts you do not want to think.
Also, practice thinking the thoughts you want to think. Really practice those positive thoughts. When you have positive thoughts with energy and practice then you will get positive results.

  1. Great concept! You have to focus more on the feelings and emotions behind your thoughts. Like you mentioned, negative thoughts are going to happen, but if you allow yourself to think about that negative thought you will realize you can turn it into a postive one! I often think I'm not good enough at various things, but then I start thinking about it and realize I have a good job, I have a wonderful fiance, and a supportive family!
