I am a seminar junkie. I love them. They are so much fun. The excitement, the growth, and the wonderful people who go to seminars create a wonderful experience with many amazing memories.
One seminar I did I was tasked with writing a song and performing it in front of everyone. It was a way to stretch myself and use my creativity to inspire the crowd.
Before this song I only sung, horribly, at karaoke. The only songs I wrote were as a child when I used to create parodies on cassettes because I was going to be the next Weird Al.
I called the song 3rd stage because it is represents in rhyming verse the ideals of a third stage love as presented by the author of “Ways of the Superior Man,” David Deida.
Also the song is in the style of Michael Frante. Another criteria for the song, which did make it more difficult as I had never heard of him before the seminar.
